SOMATIC COACHING

Coaching is partnership between the Coach and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation of personal, professional or business goals, and to develop and carry out a plan for achieving those goals.

In somatics coaching, we build, tend, and deepen relationship with the body in its wholeness to access more aliveness and choice to align our values and actions consistently make new choices towards under the same old pressures.

We do this work through embodied practice around conditioned tendencies and patterns of constriction that prevent you from identifying and acting on your longings.

As someone on this path alongside you, I aim to be your coach, guide, and cheerleader to help you find your flow in the rhythm of change to be more open, present, connected, and on-purpose with yourself, others, and the more than human.

I hope to offer you expanded permissioning and possibility beyond the limited illusions available in power-over systems of empire to reinstate care, imagination, and conflict as generative, essential skills we can tend and build.

Transformation at the level of the tissues moves slowly (and sometimes all at once). It takes 300 repetitions to build muscle memory, and 3,000 repetitions before it is an embodied action/choice/move under pressure. I recommend planning for us to work together for at least 6 months, meeting roughly every other week.
